The Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) is a government body that promotes and develops tourism infrastructure in the state, including hotels, resorts, tourist facilities, tours and accommodation services to attract visitors and support tourism growth.

Under the Maharashtra Tourism Policy (often referred to locally as Praytan Vikas Yojana), the state government offers incentives for developing tourism projects, including hotels, resorts, cottages, log huts and other accommodation units.
